The Site is provided to share information about Crossguard Cyber’s managed IT and cybersecurity services, publish educational content, and allow visitors to request information, a free IT assessment, or contact our team. These Terms govern your use of the Site itself.

Actual managed IT, cybersecurity, or related services are provided under a separate written services agreement between Crossguard Cyber and the client, which will govern the scope, fees, and terms of any engagement. Nothing on this Site constitutes an offer to contract or a binding service commitment.

3. Acceptable Use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, our systems, or related networks
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site's operation, including through malware, excessive automated requests, or denial-of-service activity
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect information from the Site by automated means without our consent
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on the Site

The Site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, the Crossguard Cyber name and marks, and the overall look and feel — are owned by Crossguard Cyber or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages from the Site for your own personal or internal business use, but you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written consent.

Articles and guides published in our Resources section are provided for general informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute professional IT, cybersecurity, legal, or compliance advice, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for an assessment of your specific environment or applicable legal requirements. 6. Free IT Assessment

Our free IT risk assessment is offered as a preliminary, good-faith review based on information you provide and, where applicable, limited technical review. It is not a comprehensive audit, penetration test, or compliance certification, and does not guarantee that all risks or vulnerabilities will be identified. Any recommendations provided are general in nature until confirmed through a formal engagement.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crossguard Cyberand its owners and employees from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in Virginia.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
