4. Cookies and Analytics

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies (such as web analytics tools) to understand how visitors use the Site and to support basic functionality. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect how portions of the Site function.

If we use third-party analytics tools (for example, to measure page views or campaign performance), those providers may collect information about your visits to the Site under their own privacy policies.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as our customer relationship management (CRM) and form provider (GoHighLevel), hosting providers, and communications tools — solely to help us operate the Site and respond to your inquiries
  • Professional advisors, such as legal or accounting providers, where necessary
  • Regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets

6. Data Retention

We retain information collected through the Site for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, maintain business records, and comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

7. Data Security

As a cybersecurity-focused company, we take the security of information seriously and use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information submitted through the Site. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which can include the right to confirm whether we process your information, access or obtain a copy of it, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, and opt out of certain uses. This may include rights available to Virginia residents under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA) and to residents of other states with similar consumer privacy laws.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 13. We will respond to verifiable requests within the time required by applicable law.

9. Communications and Consent

If you submit a form on the Site indicating your consent, you agree that Crossguard Cyber may contact you by phone, email, or text message regarding your inquiry, including using an autodialer or prerecorded messages where applicable. Consent to receive communications is not a condition of purchasing any service.

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in an email, replying “STOP” to a text message, or contacting us directly. Message and data rates may apply to text communications.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with information.

12. Changes to This Policy
